The View - Waterfront Tiny Home

This feedback was kindly shared directly with the resort after our stay and we never heard back. Positive: The door lock didn't work when we arrived, but we appreciated the quick response to that (someone came by and a new code was given) and when we asked if their were any playing cards we could borrow. The property has lots of potential! And we greatly appreciated the kindness towards us and the great suggestions for where to go in Winter Park. Negative: There is no usable table, inside or outside. The table inside has small stools too high for the table and there is nothing at all outside. So there was no where to eat or even play cards. The reservation was for 3 of us yet there were only 2 small bath towels (so our daughter didn't bother staying with us the 2nd night because so she could shower elsewhere and because there was literally no where to even sit). There is also no where to put your feet up, and the couch was so uncomfortable we didn't even sit there. I believe there was a resort fee but there really aren't amenities to justify that in our opinion ~ only kayaks. There was no wood at the fire pit and there was a volleyball net with no ball that we saw. With a resort fee I would expect things like a pool, clubhouse, walking paths, etc.

Ein toller Aufenthalt, gerne wieder! Positive: Die Lage direkt am See in der Natur ist einfach klasse, es ist alles sehr schön zurecht gemacht. Es ist eine kleine Tinyhouse Community, auch der Vermieter wohnt vor Ort. Es waren alle sehr freundlich und der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit. Bei einem kleinen Problem am Haus war er sofort da und hat uns geholfen. Die Tinyhouses zur Vermietung sind alle direkt am See und mit einer kleinen Terrasse ausgestattet, so konnte man den Abend draußen genießen. An Ausstattung war alles vorhanden was man benötigt und auch der Platz war für zwei Personen mit Gepäck völlig ausreichend. Das Bett war sehr bequem, obwohl es nur eine Matratze ist. Die Aussicht war toll, man konnte vom Bett aus auf den See schauen. Es ist auch ein Haus als Waschküche vorhanden, das haben wir genutzt und auch hier waren wir zufrieden. Negative: Die Küchenutensilien hätten gerne etwas sauberer sein dürfen.

Was excited to stay at this location when I found the listing at Vrbo but once I arrived, I was blown away. It’s not called The View for nothing.
